My Air Jordzn XII Soles Are Talking 2 Me

So it was sometime last week after I moved to Herndon, VA that I decided to pull out the OG Air Jordan XII "Obsidians" and show them some love by gracing them with my feet. Now... I don't keep no trashed or used up Jordans... These were VNDS. I can almost guarantee they had been worn less than 10 times. I actually went on a search for them at my brothers crib to find them and got lucky. Well I wore them for less than 4 hours on a cool day in VA and as you can see they showed me how they felt about that... SMH!!!

Kickk Spott in DC

Just got back from Kickk Spott the sneaker consignment shop in DC and I'll have to say that they have some heat in their store and it's nicely setup. I didn't see any OG Jordans, but they did have a fair share of Air Jordan Retros and Nike limited release sneakers. I even caught a glimpse of the Nike Air Mags on the way out. The people that worked their were pretty cool and I dropped off my 99 Air Jordan IV Cookies & Cream IVs for consignment. We'll see how long it takes for those to sell. I was expecting them to price the sneakers around $400 because it was a store, but they're starting the price at $325 which is kind of low considering I could sell them in Sneaker Fiends United on Facebook pretty quick for that price. I should've taken more pics, but I was somewhat in a hurry since it took me over 30 minutes to find a decent parking spot. There are a couple more spots I'm going to hit up in the area to see what's good also. Overall Kickk Spott was pretty decent and I'll check em out online from time to time, but it ain't no store in Japan. I'll have to keep searching!!!!

AIR JORDAN XII "PLAYOFFS"

The G.O.A.T is at it again with another OG Air Jordan sneaker colorway release April 21, 2012. The Air Jordan XII "Playoff" was first released in 1997 and later retro'd in 2004. Now they are back 8 years later to grace the bottoms of our feet. Michael Jordan rocked these bad boys with grace while winning his 4th ring and these are bound to get some attention. Jordan Brand in my opinion has watered down the market with the unnecessary sneaker releases, but these were definitely a good choice.

I'M BACK... Just Moved To The DC Metro Area

What up visitors and sneaker heads... It's been a minute, but I'm back doing what I do. I had to set aside the hobby for a minute until I got settled in, but I'm back and going to keep the sneaker and fashion news coming. In the upcoming months I'm going to do a couple of reviews on the sneaker boutiques in the DC area to let you guys know who carries the heat and has decent pricing. Don't be a stranger and check back for that info.

This is the kind of heat that I don't live to far away from. Living in Japan was great, but I think DC might have Japan beat... We'll see!

NIKE FOAMPOSITE ONE "Metallic Red"

The Nike Foamposite One is always a definite cop in my book. The "Metallic Red" sneaker due to release in February will be sporting some metallic red paint on the upper along with nice icey soles. There are also hints of black and the all to well know Penny Hardaway logo imprinted on the back of the sneaker. This will definitely be a head turner sneaker in 2012.

JORDAN SPIZIKE "University Blue"

Here is a sneak peak at a Spizike due to release sometime in 2012. The sneaker's colorway is made up of a powder blue and soda orange colored laces along with matching icy bottoms. The icy bottom is rarely seen on Spizikes, but Jordan Brand goes there on this release. Not really feeling these, but we'll see where the hype takes them. Pictures obtained via MarqueeSole.

TEENAGER SHOT OVER AIR JORDAN XI "CONCORD"

It seems that the madness has not stopped and people are making hits on the few that were able to cop the just released Air Jordan XI "Concord". There has been a shooting recently over the extremely popular pair of kicks.  Two men broke into a house where they new a teenager owned a pair of the Air Jordan XI "Concord" that her received for Christmas. They demanded that the teenager give up his fresh kicks, but he wouldn't without a fight. During the scuffle there were shots fired and the two men made off with some cash and the new sneakers. This is a shame regardless if it was over shoes... No one should steal another man's property. It's not worth the consequences! Some blame this on Nike, but there are just bad people in this world... If it wasn't for sneakers it would be a Ipad or something else!
